The Greenwood Pipeline Magnet with Removable Strainer has the dual function of both a permanent magnet for the extraction of ferrous particles and a removable strainer with fine mesh for the removal of other impurities from fluids conveyed by pressurised pipelines. Manufactured in 316 stainless steel, the unit is simply connected to the existing pipeline via flanges or connections as required. High intensity rare earth magnetic rods filter the flow and extract the unwanted ferrous metal. The removable strainer is manufactured with the mesh size specified by the client to suit the flow rates, pressure and viscosity of the product. As a bespoke item, we design and manufacture to meet the specific process requirements. Simple, easy access using the quick release lid, the high intensity rare earth magnets are offered in an easy clean version up to 10000 gauss or fully sealed non easy clean to 12000 gauss (magnetic strength on the contact surface). Available with optional water jackets in a range of sizes, to meet the design pressure and operating temperatures of the lines, this is Ideal for chocolate, caramel or similar production lines.
